Philippine Sports has witnessed Filipino athletes, National Teams. and many Sports groups/organizations undergoing a vicious cycle of finding themselves in constant need to upgrade in training equipment and constant search of funding due to finite resources, the lack of government support, limited corporate support, or perhaps even sadly due to misappropriation of funds naturally meant for those who train hard to represent our country in the field of sports and athletics. We hate to admit it but this is the absolute TRUTH in PHILIPPINE SPORTS.

CALL TO ACTION

It is for this reason that the challenge to begin a movement to aid the plight and restore the honor of these sportsmen fell on the laps of SPORTS MEDIA ASIA. The legacy was to establish a tool which would benefit the Filipino athletes, Sports Organizations, and create a positive influence towards building a proud nation of FIT FILIPINOS. The result of which was the SCORE CARD which intends to SCORE BIG FOR PHILIPPINE SPORTS in the following ways:

1. Give athletes and sports enthusiasts special benefits and privileges in order for them to procure the best training equipment and or services.

 2. Provide insurance coverage for accidental sports injuries and medical expenses assuring the athlete cardholder that help is there in some way during their very time of need. And shall aid them in getting them back in competitive shape at the soonest possible time.

3. It is the perfect tool for Sports Teams and Organizations to use in order to raise funds for the development of their specific field of sport.

4. Hopes to influence non-sports enthusiasts to get into sports and take that first critical step in obtaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
